The most severe violators were Procter and Gamble’s ultra-absorbent Depend tampons. According to the guide Detergent Opera: The Within Tale of Procter and Bet, the organization ignored customer problems about the tampons for years. A 1975 organization memo revealed that Depend tampons included known cancer-causing providers and that the item changed the natural creatures seen in the vaginal area. Depend tampons were taken off the racks in 1980, but many females declare they remaining a heritage of hysterectomies and loss of love and infertility.
